Length of Contract

This agreement will remain in effect for one year from original invoice date and will be self-renewing at the prevailing rates, terms, and conditions in the current service contract. Either party upon 30 days written notice, may cancel this agreement.

To keep the SchagrinGas Service Contract in effect a customer must pay for all gas, parts, labor, and other chargeable items, when due and not permit anyone other than a SchagrinGas authorized service technician to render service to the covered equipment. No refunds will be given on premature termination.

Inspection

SchagrinGas Co. reserves the right to inspect and approve the equipment before accepting the service contract. Repairs required to place the equipment in acceptable condition are not covered. A one time inspection fee of $69.95 will be charged. Inspection fee may be waived on equipment if your equipment is 2 years or newer or if you purchase the contract at the time of the inspection/service. Please contact your Service Branch for your annual inspection. Any equipment over 10 years can be refused service coverage.

Plan Coverage
  • Silver

    This covers cleaning only. Parts and additional labor is not covered. Cleaning will be scheduled only during regular business hours-Monday-Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and not on Holidays.

  • Gold

    Service under this agreement includes: Inspection, cleaning, and adjusting equipment for optimum operating efficiency; Lubricate all motors and bearings; Inspect venting system. SchagrinGas also offers emergency service labor on covered equipment during service plan hours. Service plan hours are 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Monday-Friday. Any service call covered by this plan after the above hours or during a holiday will incur an “after hours” charge.

    PARTS COVERED UNDER GOLD PLAN:
    • A/C*: STANDARD THERMOSTAT, BLOWER MOTOR, CONDENSER FAN MOTOR, TRANSFORMER, EXPANSION VALVE, CAPACITOR, RELAY, REFRIGERANT(MAX2LB.),PRESSURE SWITCH, FAN BLADE.
    • HEATER: THERMOCOUPLE, PILOT BURNERS, FAN SWITCHES, PRESSURE SWITCH, IGINTION MODULE*, EMERGENCY SWITCH, MAIN BURNERS*, IGNITERS, TRANSFORMER, RELAYS, STD HEATING SWITCHES, SAFETY SWITCHES, GAS CONTROL VALVE*, CONTROL WIRING, LIMIT SWITCHES, BLOWER MOTORS*, AND COMBUSTION BLOWER MOTOR*, STANDARD AIR FILTERS (MAXIMUM $20).
    • WATER HEATER: THERMOCOUPLE, POWER VENT MOTOR*, MAIN BURNER, SAFETY SWITCHES, PILOT BURNER, GAS CONTROL VALVE*.
    • NOT COVERED: SPECIALTY AIR FILTERS, COMPRESSORS, BLOWN FUSES, TRIPPED BREAKERS, EXTERNAL WIRING, PLUMBING, PILOT OUTAGES, VENTING, GAS PIPING, PLUMBING OR WIRING, CALLS ON PROPERLY OPERATING EQUIPMENT, TURNED OFF SWITCHES OR THERMOSTATS. CLOGGED OR DIRTY AIR FILTERS.
    • *MAXIMUM $50 ALLOWANCE EACH PART.
  • Platinum

    Service under this agreement includes: Inspection, cleaning, and adjusting equipment for optimum operating efficiency; Lubricate all motors and bearings; Inspect venting system. SchagrinGas also offers emergency service labor on covered equipment during service plan hours and after hour calls. ALL PARTS COVERED EXCEPT COMPRESSORS AND HEAT EXCHANGERS AND VARIABLE SPEED BLOWER MOTORS.

    Service under this agreement does not include labor needed because of an Act of God, fire, water damage or other abnormal occurrences

    • Interrupted electrical service or low voltage, blown fuses or circuit breakers, or emergency switch in the “off” position
    • Intake air or exhaust system impeded (blocked or partially blocked) by obstructions
    • Inadequate supply of fuel source
    • Any other call that does not relate to service identified as “covered” in this plan
    • Damage or distort caused by homeowner
    • Clogged/dirty filters may not be covered
Moving?

You can assign the product coverage of the Gold or Platinum Plans to another person by notifying SchagrinGas Co. in writing and enclosing a check for $10.00 to cover processing and administration costs.
